My take..
   ..on the new Moon

At this Moon event, I see nine planets, lights and asteroids contained in a 90-degree span, beginning with 5° Sagittarius with the Moon at one edge of the span and Neptune in Aquarius at the other. The midpoint between the two is 13 Capricorn 44. However, there are no aspects to it.

The midpoint between the Sun/Moon and Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius is 28 Sagit. 40. Pluto is conjunct the midpoint. Reading from Munkasey's book, Midpoints...

Moon/Jupiter combo

Thesis: Increased concerns about how to protect and care for your family or self; an idealistic imagination; expansion of future schemes; luck in all areas of family life and business; belief in support and protection.

Sun/Jupiter combo

Thesis: Developing self-leadership; gaining increased recognition and respect; increasing your competence so others will come to you for advice and counsel; adds to the prestige and political acumen of your efforts.

To me the most notable element of this new Moon event is Uranus in Pisces entering the U.S.'s natal 5th house.
